The Westfalian Studbook will have a total of 170 foals on offer on August 2/3 during the OnLive auction as part of Westfalian Week.  While riders fight for Olympic medals in Paris, the champions of tomorrow will make their first public appearance in front of a large audience in Münster-Handorf.

From foal to top athlete: that is the motto of the Westfalian Studbook when the auction kicks off on Friday, August 2 with 60 foals predispositioned for jumping. The stage will belong to the dressage dancers the following day when auctioneer Thomas Münch will then put 110 foals with strong movement under the hammer. Parallel to the Olympic Games taking place in Paris, offspring of the Olympians will be presented to a large audience for the first time in Münster-Handorf – but certainly not for the last time!

The first foal to enter the auction arena on the Friday evening will be Zensation Touch K (bred and exhibited by Carsten Köhne, Bottrop) a chestnut colt by the successful sire Zinedine, who is currently attracting particular attention with his son Zineday. With Philipp Weishaupt in the saddle, he is part of the German team at the Olympic Games in Paris. The dam of auction candidate, St.Pr./LS-S United's Lady, also collected successes in jumping competitions up to 1m40.

Like last year, the dressage foals will open with a son of the double World Champion and current Olympic participant Glamourdale. With the characteristic name Galmourdale Jr. (breeder and exhibitor: Kamon Takada, Hamelin), the black colt will head the auction spectacle of 110 dressage foals on Saturday afternoon. His dam Verb.Pr.St. Fiona is a daughter of the successful Fürstenball. The dam herself was successful in dressage competitions.

In addition to riding horse foals, the highly interesting auction lot also includes riding pony foals with a future in pony sport.

Bids for the champions of tomorrow can be placed both live on site and online at onlineauction.westfalenpferde.de. All foals have of course been vet checked in advance. The protocols can be viewed online and on site on the day of the auction. The auction of jumping foals will start on Friday at 5.30 pm (CET) the auction of dressage foals on Saturday at 3 pm.
