Get ready for a thrilling comeback and an exhilarating newcomer as test riders for the SWB Equestrian Weeks with Breeders Trophy at Flyinge this autumn, both shining with undeniable star power. For the dressage week from September 27 to October 1, we proudly present the German top rider, Benjamin Wrendl.

And returning for the show jumping week from October 4 to 8, we have the crowd favorite and world number one, Henrik von Eckermann, fresh off his victory at the World Cup in Omaha, USA earlier in the spring.
The aim of SWB Equestrian Weeks with Breeders Trophy is to promote the basic training of young horses, and having sought-after and skilled test riders is an integral part of our long-term goal.
“Benjamin is truly a remarkable rider, having secured a team bronze medal and an individual fourth place at the 2022 World Championships in Herning. He represents the classical German training method but always prioritizes the well-being of the horse as an individual, which resonates with us,” said Tomas Torgersen, senior advisor for SWB Equestrian Weeks.
Having previously served as a test rider for Dansk Varmblod in Herning 2017 and SWB in 2022, Henrik von Eckermann returns as a test rider for the five-year-old show jumping horses at SWB during the Breeders Trophy. “We are incredibly delighted to have a test rider of Henrik von Eckermann’s caliber joining us,” continues Tomas Torgersen. “It’s fantastic to offer such a talented test rider to our promising young five-year-old showjumping horses. Swedish show jumping truly showcases world-class talent.”
The test riding events during SWB Equestrian Weeks attract a large audience and are widely broadcast. The event will be livestreamed on Equisport for those residing in Sweden and on ClipMyHorse.TV for the rest of the world... To read the complete article you need to be a subscriber
