Joop van Uytert has announced the passing of their Trakehner- and KWPN-approved stallion Easy Game (Gribaldi x Schwadroneur) on Monday, July 10: "Easy Game turned just 20 years old. We didn’t expect this at all.

The most famous offspring of Easy Game is of course Olympic and European champion TSF Dalera BB (Jessica von Bredow Werndl) and Van Uytert’s own stallion Hermès NOP, the WEG bronze medallist shown by Dinja van Liere.

Easy Game was bred by Flip Willemsen out of Gribaldi and the Danish top mare Evita XII (Cannon Row xx). Evita won the Stutenleistungsprüfung in Denmark and was the most expensive mare in the 2001 auction at the Trakehner Hengstmarkt in Neumünster. She moved to Flip Willemnsen’s stables in Bergharen near Nijmegen, pregnant with Kaiser Wilhelm. In 2002, multi-champion Evviva was born, followed the year after by Easy Game.

Van Uytert bought the colt from Flip Willemsen and presented him at the Trakehner Hengstmarkt in Neumünster at the age of two-and-a-half, where he was approved and named Easy Game. During the inspection, Easy Game was partially sold to Petra Wilm of Gestüt Tasdorf. At Tasdorf Stud, Easy Game covered his first mares, including the dam of TSF Dalera BB.

From relatively few coverings (a total of 60-70 Trakehner mares), a particularly large number of successful offspring has been produced. Among others, he produced stallion Millennium (damsire Ravel) and Trakehner champion Kaiser's Erbe (damsire Van Deyk).
In 2014, Easy Game was declared 'elite' stallion, and in 2017 he won the Doruto Memorial of the Trakehner association, and in 2021 he became Trakehner Stallion of the Year.

Easy Game himself was active in the sport up to Small Tour level. He was trained and showed by Theo Hanzon and John Thijssen.
