Bright blue skies, sunshine, and strawberry punch – a more beautiful setting could hardly have been wished for at the return of the DSP dressage foal auction at the Ludwigsburg Monrepos Riding Club.

To mark the club’s 100th anniversary, the new, dedicated team had organized an attractive four-day tournament where everyone from young riders to three-star professionals could feel at home.
Part of this young talent were the 23 DSP foals that had traveled to the city of palaces for the ‘Her Majesty’s’ auction. On Saturday evening, the grand arena belonged to them. A knowledgeable audience had gathered not only in person but also online to seize their chance to secure one of the promising dressage foals.
The level of excitement was raised early in the evening when the ‘movement marvel’ with catalog number five entered the auction ring as the second lot. The modern black colt by Dynamic Pur x Escamillo, bred by Agrarproduktions GmbH Christian Fatke, delighted bidders from far beyond Germany’s borders...
