The DSP studbook has introduced a new dimension to its riding horse marketing with an auction premiere which celebrated a top price of €137,000 for Karl, an eight-year-old son of Kannan bred by Karlheinz Luz, Neckartailfingen, out of Baloutina (Balou du Rouet).

The bay DSP gelding, who has already recorded jumping success up to 1m35, had already impressed in advance with his seemingly limitless ability. And he is no exception. Frangipani had already proven her quality during her broodmare test when her basic gaits were rated up to 8.5, and she received a 9.25 for rideability.
On average, the 28 horses in the Chiemsee Sales collection sold for €41,534, and the German Sport Horse entered a new dimension in riding horse marketing at this first in-person riding horse auction following Covid. The excellent cooperation with the host Dietmar Gugler and his team certainly contributed to this, making it possible for this auction to be more than just a sales platform, but also a special social event thanks to the ambience, first-class catering, and live music...
