In cooperation with the Zhashkiv Stud in the Ukraine, the Westfalian Studbook once again organised an online auction, when 40 unridden youngsters were up for sale, virtually all of them having the successful sire Cornet Obolensky in their pedigree.
It was the sixth time that the Westfalian Studbook has organized the Cornet Obolensky Online Auction in cooperation with the Zhashkiv Stud, the grey stallion’s home. Bred and exhibited by the Zhashkiv Equestrian Sports School, the 40 youngsters offered for sale are inherently connected to the star sire Cornet Obolensky, who gained great popularity and success in showjumping under the saddle of Marco Kutscher.
Head #3 Come on Greta aroused the most interest, being a daughter of the successful Cornet Obolensky son Comme il faut NRW, and descending from the world-famous Leonore line. Her dam, the Verb.Pr.St. Gordenia (Godolphin), also produced the Cornet Obolensky daughter Cornet’s Celine, who is successful up to advanced level. Clinton, who was so successful for Belgium under the saddle of Dirk Demeersmann, is also a descendant of this line.
