Class wins in Den Bosch

THE NETHERLANDS (by Claartje van Andel) There were stallion competition wins for Henkie, Imposantos, Total US and Gunner KS, starting with the Gelder stallion Henkie (Alexandro P - Beaujamanda ster x Upperville), bred by the Hekkert family. He produced a convincing test in the final with Adelinde Cornelissen, scoring no less than 89 points – the highest rewarded walk at 9.5.

Imposantos (Wynton - Zarina elite IBOP-dres PROK x Krack C, bred by W. Wijnen) and Bart Veeze were the winners of the L-competition for five-year-olds. For his dressage prospects and submission, Imposantos was awarded a 9.0.

“Total US showed us what dressage should look likes” praised Monique Peutz following his test. A Totilas son out of Sondra (Sir Donner- hall), bred by Paul Shockemöhle, she continued by saying: “Such a lovely frame, always uphill, simply fantastic,” as he won the stallion competition for six-year- olds with Dinja van Liere.

Gunner KS (Bellissimo M - Ronnevanck ster pref prest sport-dres PROK x Vincent, bred by Arthur Kleijwegt) secured the seven-year-old title with Dana van Lierop.

VHO Trophy, dressage

Desperado (Vivaldi - Sarita elite pref prest D-OC x Havidoff, bred by the An- deweg family from Randwijk) demonstrated a lot of talent with Emmelie Scholtens in the Freestyle to Music for the VHO Trophy. This year, with a new initiative, all the competitors were musically accompanied by Joost Peeters. Des- perado and Scholtens scored 88.25%...
