Presented by Hyperion Stud, and following last year’s successful premiere, Champion of the Champions will return to SWB Equestrian Weeks at Flyinge. On Saturday, October 3, some of Sweden’s most promising young eventing horses will meet for an action-packed showcase putting the stars of the future in the spotlight.

Champion of the Champions brings together the leading combinations from this year’s Breeders Trophy in eventing for four-, five- and six-year-old horses. The Breeders Trophy in eventing will take place on September 12/13 at the Össjö cross-country course during the Nordic-Baltic Championships. The first three horses from each age group will be invited to Champion of the Champions during SWB Equestrian Weeks.
In a condensed format, the audience will have the opportunity to see the horses perform across the three different elements of eventing. The horses will demonstrate their paces in showjumping and cross-country skills, and will be judged on qualities including talent, rideability, temperament, athletic ability, and potential for future international sport.
“It is wonderful to see the leading young eventing horses given this opportunity to take centre stage during SWB Equestrian Weeks. These horses may not always receive the same exposure at major events, and Champion of the Champions gives them an arena of their own in front of a wider audience.
