Kannan (Voltaire - Cemeta x Nimmerdor) has just added his name to a trifecta of great stallions who has passed away quite recently – the latest being claimed by a cardiac arrest at the age of 28. Kannan will certainly find his way into the record books as one of the most successful and popular sires of his generation. Currently ranked 16th in the WBFSH top-100 sire ranking according to the results of their offspring, Kannan is currently trailing For Pleasure – who died in 2011 – by a small margin, so his own star will likely continue to rise long after his death.
