For the first time, Studbook Zangersheide will combine its stallion expertise with a physical and online young stallion auction 'The Zangersheide Stallion Auction'. This brand new live auction will be held at Sentower Park in Oudsbergen during the Zangersheide International.

Under the direction of our auctioneer Frederik De Backer, the best selected stallions will be auctioned on the evening of Saturday February 18, which promises to be a sparkling event and will allow offer investments in the best young horses available.

On Thursday, February 16, the candidate stallions will be presented for the first time and judged in-hand on the hard ground. A first free-jumping selection will follow on Friday, February 17 and on Saturday February 18, the selected stallion candidates will be able to confirm their jumping talent to the judges for the second time. On Saturday afternoon, the jury will announce its verdict and decide which stallions will be approved for breeding henceforth.
