Thanks to Stephan Barcha and Hex-Lup’s brilliant performance during the CHI Geneva indoor speed class, Brazil reaffirmed its strength on the international equestrian scene with an historic performance in Switzerland.
Considered the most significant indoor event on the global circuit, the competition brought together elite riders and horses from around the world, and was the setting for a memorable victory by the 100% Brazilian duo of Stephan Barcha and Chevaux Hex Lup Império Egípcio.
In the Prix Chasse speed and agility class, judged under Table C rules and featuring 1m45 obstacles, Barcha delivered a flawless performance. Riding the 14-year-old Brazilian Sport Horse (BH), a descendant of X-Rated Gms by Clinton Jmen, the rider crossed the finish line in an impressive 69.99 seconds without a single fault. This brilliant result made him the only participant to complete the course in under 70 seconds, earning the pair not only recognition from a demanding audience, but also the €9,900 prize purse...
