With a hammer price of €33,500, a strong-moving son of Blue Hors Bondo was the most popular offer of the evening, while the most expensive jumping foal was a son of the champion stallion Con Touch RS at €14,000.

A total of 45 foals were up for sale at the recent Online Auction of the Westfalian Studbook, with almost 70% finding new owners at an average price of €8,065. It was a large collection for this 83rd online auction with plenty to motivate fans of both dressage and show jumping fans, as well as riding pony enthusiasts.
Best Secret (bred and exhibited by Erja Marianne Aholainen, Hollingstedt) stood particularly high in the favour of the international clientele with the head number five. Best Secret’s dam line is well known on the Westfalian auction circuit, as his dam Don't Imitate (Depeche Mode) is a half-sister to the former auction price topper Eine Offenbarung who changed hands for €140,000 euros in autumn 2011. It is also the dam line of Damon Hill NRW; the Westfalian stallion who won team silver at the London 2012 Olympic Games under the saddle of Helen Langehaneberg.
Another top price of the evening was achieved with the head number 18 Fortnite (breeder and exhibitor: Rhenania Pferde, Alpen). The son of the Grand Prix successful For Romance I aroused the interest of eight parties. After an exciting bidding duel between custom
