Brazilian national breeding certainly stood out with impressive victories during the Andalucían Sunshine Tour 2025 in Spain – one of Europe’s most prestigious showjumping circuits.

Brazil continues to claim a major spotlight during the 2025 international season, with nationally bred horses already reaching the top of the podium in Spain. Brazilian pairs have continued to demonstrate excellence, securing important victories and reinforcing the quality of the Brazilian Sport Horse (BH) within the global equestrian scene.
On March 2, Brazilian international rider Pedro Veniss and the mare CS Hortencia (Etoulon VDL x Cassini II), bred by Haras Campos Salles, secured a historic victory in the Clipmyhorse.TV Grand Prix (1m45), which counted towards the Longines ranking. Facing a technical and challenging course, Veniss advanced to the jump-off and crossed the finish line in 39.22 seconds without penalties, to secure first place. The pair won the CSI4* Medium Tour (1m40), a timed competition, with a flawless round and an impressive time of 61.22 seconds, also with no penalties. The event, held in Vejer de la Frontera, followed the FEI Art. 238.2.1 regulations and confirmed the super-iority of Brazilian breeding in Europe.
These achieve-ments highlight Brazil’s strength in international show-jumping, with BH horses becoming in-creasingly competitive on the European circuit.
