Belantis son – champion Oldenburg stallion LL-Foto

GERMANY (by Jean Llewellyn/press release) This year, the triumphant champion stallion of the Oldenburg licensing in Vechta was a Belantis son, bred and exhibited by Angelika Krause from Ellerbek. Belantis has, of course, already achieved many international dressage victories with Isabell Werth.

Belantis comes from the well-known ‘P’ line of the Bundeschampionesse Poetin (Sandro Hit) and Quaterback. A son of Casallco (dam’s sire by Calido), bred by Paul Forkert from Bremen, exhibited by Hergen Forkert, was awarded the champion stallion’s title of Springpferdezuchtverband Oldenburg International (OS). His dam, Clivia, is also the dam of Ben Mahers international jumper Cloud Nine II.

Runner-up in the group of premium Oldenburg dressage stallions went to a colt by Don Schufro x Stedinger x Dinard L x Ramiro, bred by Heinz and Elisabeth Schulte from Ahlen, and exhibited by Johannes Westendarp from Wallenhorst. The Oldenburg vice champion comes from the famous Finnländerin dam line...
