From February 21-23, 2020, the Pôle Hippique of Saint-Lô in Normandy, France, will welcome stallions, stallion owners, exhibitors, sport horse breeders, and horse enthusiasts during one of Europe's pre-eminent breeding events: The Sport Stallion Show of Saint-Lô.

For 15 years now, the Pôle Hippique of Saint-Lô – in association with the Selle Français Studook, and in partnership with ONP (the Norman pony association) – has organized this important show. This year, notably, the Selle Français championship for three-year-old stallions will join the 'Stallion Masters'  and will take place on February 21. In total, 70 young horses are expected to participate to earn the title 'approved stallion'.

Over three days, more than 250 horses will be presented, including some internationally renowned sport stallions such as Balou Star, Emerald, Mylord Carthago, Orient Express*HDC, and Qlassic Bois Margot, as well as some popular ponies.

Presentations will begin at 10:00 a.m. on February 22, 9:00 a.m. on February 23, and will run throughout each day.

The 'Masters l'Eperon' on February 21 is an event reserved exclusively for stallions from four- to five-years-old. Two tests (model and jumping) will be evaluated by an expert judging committee assessing movement, balance, and jumping qualities.

On February 22, the 'Grand Match' is a class that has the appearance of a Nations' Cup, with team of three stallions competing over a course of eight obstacles, and the winner being the team with the fewest faults.
