ABCCH (Brazilian Association of Sport Horse Breeders) and CHSA (Clube Hípico de Santo Amaro) hosted the 17th edition of the Brazilian Sport Horse National Festival, which took place at the equestrian club from November 8-20, 2022.

During its first week, the event hosted the Brazilian Sport Horse National Exhibit, which included stallion approvals, mare approvals, and a foal exhibit. Around 100 products were presented on the grass and sand arenas of the club to be evaluated by the judges: Andre Lolo (Brazil), Sebastian Rohde (Germany), Neimar Roncatti (Brazil), Bartele Pieter Henstra (the Netherlands), and Victor Chiari Alves (Brazil).

One of the most popular attractions of the event was the jumping category for the stallion approval, which displayed outstanding specimens both in free jumping and under saddle. The latter group saw the following stallions approved having been evaluated for genealogy, morphology, movement, jumping, general impression, and radiography: Mago Da Cabana (Cornet Obolensky x London); Elhappy Flores (Eldorado van de Zeshoek x Winningmood van de Arenberg); Smerald TW (Emerald van’t Ruyttershof x Lord Z); and Casca d’Or Jmen I (Comme Il Faut x Sandro Boy).
Regarding free jumping, after a two-day evaluation in the round pen and one on the triangle, the judges ultimately approved Corion d’Or I Jmen and Elton John LMZ, with scores of 8.05 and 8.03, respectively. The products that received provisional approval were: Cornet’́s Best Jmen (Cornet Obolensky x Sandro Boy); Comme de Lor BR (Comme Il Faut x Calvaro Z); Chamonix Agromix (Comme Il Faut x Cassini II); HSF Jazz (Non Plus Ultra II x Cor de la Bryère); Claristo Jmen (Carbacan Jmen x Comme Il Faut); Putz Grilla da Cabana (Emerald can’t Ruytershof x Kannan); and Iphone 3k (Androide 3k x Contendro I).
Drosa Toti Moon (Totilas x De Niro) received provisional approval in dressage, and alongside the morphological evaluation underwent a four-year-old young horse replay, while awaiting final approval in compliance with the rules.. To read the complete article you need to be a subscriber
