Customers from all over the world secured their future Oldenburg star in Vechta when studbook friends from 13 different countries made purchases during the 6th Oldenburg Special Edition auction. After some sensational bidding, one-third of the horses will now make their journey across the Atlantic to the United States.

The quality of the riding-horse collection was demonstrated by the great turnover of €1,131,000, and an average price of €36,500. More than 1,000 online bids were received over a 24-hour period, which made this the ‘ultimate’ auction finale of 2021.

His dam, Faszination, is the sister of US champion mare Damon’s Fantasy/Kathy Priest, USA. This famous Fackila dam line is the origin of the licensed Fackeltanz OLD – Grand Prix successful – from the Max-Theurer dressage stable, and the European Championships bronze medallist Delaunay OLD with Sweden’s Patrik Kittel.
Second most expensive horse with a knock-down price of €83,500 was the three-year-old Fleur Belle (Fürst Romancier x Don Larino x Wolkentanz), bred by Beate Wedermann from Wangerland, Lower Saxony, and exhibited by Stefanie Dresch from Bad Grund, Lower Saxony. Her brother, Ben Hur (Bonifatius), is Intermediaire I successful with Andreas Huberton, while her dam is sister to Don Frederic/Rodolpho Riskalla (BRA), and Diva Larina – competing Grand Prix with Miriam Alber. The stunning mare made for the biggest bidding duel of the online auction with over 135 bids. She will be trained in an Olympic dressage stable in Canada in the future...
