On Saturday, August 8, 2026, at 7:00 p.m., the Saint-Lô Equestrian Center will host the 6th edition of the Normandy Queens Auction, a now established event dedicated to showcasing female genetics. Organized as part of the renowned Normandie Horse Show and its CSI3* competition, the sale is innovating this year with the presentation of mares free jumping on the evening of the sale, offering buyers a new perspective on their sporting potential.
A total of 45 lots, all females, will be presented at this 2026 edition, including five broodmares, eight foals, and 32 three- and four-year-olds. All the horses have been rigorously selected by the diverse and complementary team at Normandy Queens Auction, guaranteeing the quality and consistency of the offering.
Several prestigious stud farms affiliated with Cheval Normandie will be represented, including the renowned prefixes 'de Brekka', 'du Chanu', 'd'Elle', 'des Forêts', 'de Kergane', 'de La Cense', 'de Laume', 'du Rouet', and 'de Vesquerie'.
From a genetic standpoint, the sale will showcase exceptional maternal lines. Among the broodmares are daughters of the great champions Ulysse des Forêts and Equita van't Zorgvliet. Among the fillies, buyers will have the opportunity to acquire a half-sister of Fancy de Kergane, a niece of Fringan de Vesquerie, and a granddaughter of Nangaye de Kergane. The maternal lines of great champions Itôt du Chateau, Azur, Baloubet du Rouet, Ideo du Thot, Mylord Carthago, Zirocco Blue VDL, Flipper d'Elle, Arko III, Baladine du Mesnil, Narcotique, and Le Prestige St Lois will also be featured.
The big news for 2026: the mares will be presented free jumping on the evening of the sale, allowing buyers to appreciate their athletic qualities and potential firsthand. A training session open to the public will also take place on Friday, August 7 at 6:00 PM.
During the evening of the sale, the stands will be open to the public. Limited table seating is available for reservation, offering a chance to experience the event up close to the presentation ring.
