Discover, Get to Know and Fall in Love – The Oldenburg Stable Sales
Fifteen carefully selected dressage and show jumping horses take centre stage at the first edition of the Oldenburg Stable Sales. The collection brings together talented young prospects, well-trained sport partners and promising future stars with attractive pedigrees and excellent prospects for sport, breeding and leisure riding.
Enya (Lot 4), born 27 April 2021, by Colman out of elite and Verband premium mare Elfriede by Contendro I – Argentinus – Contango, breeder and owner: Christine Stagge-Fältström, Löningen, is a striking daughter of the proven show jumping sire Colman. This likeable mare impresses with her appealing technique, outstanding attitude and a family that has already produced numerous successful sport horses. Her brothers Django by Diamant de Plaisir I and Obelix by Ogano Sitte have both achieved considerable success in Youngster classes. Dam Elfriede is the sister of the 1.45 m successful Abrakadabra by Rivero xx ridden by Cara Anthony, USA, while granddam Espe is the sister of the 1.50 m successful Estina by Argentinus ridden by Eduardo Salas, Mexico.
Another highlight is Wakani (Lot 12), born 8 June 2022, by Kjento out of Diana by Don Crusador – Wolkentanz – Aga Khan, breeder and owner: Gerd Kelterborn, Wangerland. This four-year-old daughter of double World Champion Kjento captivates with her expressive movement, charm and enormous potential for upper-level dressage sport. Her dam Diana is the sister of the Grand Prix successful Broadway by Beluga ridden by Sylvia Zimmer.
With the Oldenburg Stable Sales, Oldenburger Pferde-Vermarktungs GmbH has created a new sales format that places the needs of both buyers and sellers at its heart. The 15 selected horses remain in their familiar home environment throughout the entire marketing period and can be tried by appointment. This gives prospective buyers to get to know their potential new sport partner under optimal conditions.
In addition, a public trial session for all auction horses will take place on Saturday, 13 June 2026, from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon at the Oldenburg Horse Centre in Vechta. Afterwards, all auction horses will undergo a further clinical examination by the auction veterinarian, ensuring that prospective buyers have access to up-to-date veterinary findings immediately prior to the auction finale.
It is also worth following the Oldenburg Verband’s social media channels. The first home videos of the Stable Sales horses are gradually being released, offering authentic insights into the auction candidates in their familiar surroundings.
