Basking in glorious sunshine and a fantastic atmosphere, Oldenburg foals received enthusiastic acclaim from numerous delighted buyers from around the globe during the 38th Elite Foal Auction in Vechta.
According to auction manager Roland Metz following the entertaining auction, which saw 80 Oldemburg foals go under the hammer, “The outstanding quality of the carefully selected top foals led to a sales rate of around 78% and a stable price level, which we are very pleased with”. The auction attracted strong interest from both domestic and international clients.
The celebrated price highlight was Versailles B (Veneno - Vb.Pr.St. Ratz Fatz x Fidertanz x Sir Donnerhall I x Regazzoni), bred by Antje Belludt from Mechernich. The filly was sold for €71,000 to a major stallion breeder and stud farm owner in the Netherlands. Despite the lengthy bidding duel, this elegant filly trotted round after round like a metronome. Her dam, Ratz Fatz, is the sister of Emiliano (Escolar), successful in advanced level dressage.
Easy to Love (Escanto PS - Vincenza x El.H. Vitalis x Desperados), bred by Stefanie Marschall from Bad Grund, lived up to his name. After an exciting bidding contest, auctioneer Christoph Rowoldt sold this stallion prospect, equipped with exceptional impulsion and three outstanding basic gaits, for €40,000 to a promising dressage home. Dam Vincenza is the sister of the 2019 Oldenburg premium stallion Blue Hors Forton (For Romance II), as well as Victoria, who in 2024 produced the high-priced auction foal Ghostwriter.
Loyal clients from Poland invested €33,000 in the stallion prospect Diademus (Dynamic Dream - El.St.Pr.St. Loreley x Fidertanz x Sandro Hit), bred by Georg Toenjes from Bösel. The expressive Diademus is the brother of the licensed stallions Emporio and Du Monde, as well as four Elite Auction horses, including Diamond Dancer, successful in advanced level dressage. Dam Loreley paraded in the Brillantring at the Elite Mare Show in Rastede and is the sister of no fewer than six price-highlight foals, including the licensed stallions Double Hit and Diamond Hero, both by Diamond Hit, Diamond Lady (Ustinov), as well as Lord Hit...
