Over the weekend of April 13 and 14, 2024, the traditional ‘Future Stars’ DSP free jumping and dressage championships, previously based in Röhlingen, took place at showjumper Mario Walter’s riding facility in Ellwangen-Killingen.

Also, for the first time, the DSP saddle-free championships for three- and four-year-old horses were on the program and all four championship classes were open to riding ponies with their own championship titles.
Under the judging eyes of Ina-Kathrin Schmid and Volker Brodhecker, the championship started with the class for three-year-old dressage horses. In the award ceremony, Quiana LK accompanied the first DSP pony champion Gründleinshofs Cosmolina (Cosmopolitan D x Dimension AT, breeder and owner: Gestüt Gründleinshof), who secured the title with a final score of 8.38.
The Lampe family traveled from Thuringia with Fabinio, their four-year-old son of Fidertanz from a dam by Fürstenstern who took the lead in the field of four-year-old dressage horses with a score of 8.38. Breeder and owner Kathrin Lampe beamed: “We were surprised at how quickly we got to Ellwangen-Killingen via the A7, the trip was more than worth it.”
In the afternoon, the track belonged to the three-year-old jumpers, with a home victory for the horse breeding club of Aalen-Ellwangen achieving success. Breeder Ulrich Ostermann introduced his Chubakko daughter out of a Cento dam, and the dark bay impressed with top marks, receiving 8.6 for technique and ability from judges Heinz Meyer and Günther Karle to be crowned champion...
