The auction horses at the Westfalian Youngster and Broodmare Auction were highly sought after. A total of 24 youngsters sold for an average price of €18,906, while the broodmare group averaged €8,700.
The 36 young horses with dressage pedigrees were topped in the price stakes by a For Romance Son, head number 132, bred by ZG Prudenz Frühling. His dam, the Hanoverian Pr.St. Rhianna (Real Diamond) is a half sister of Revitavet Capato (Contendro), who is a successful international eventer in the USA. Equipped with excellent movement the black-bay sold to a competition stable in Baden-Württemberg for €47,000.
The most expensive broodmare, Let's Dream RB (L'Espoir x Fidermark), changed hands for €13,000.
