The finals of the Danish Equestrian Federation’s young horse championships in dressage (four-, five-, six-, and seven-year-olds) and showjumping (four-, five-, and six-year-olds) were held at Blue Hors in the month of November, where Danish Warmblood horses took most of the championship titles.

The championships are open to sport horses from all studbooks, and at Blue Hors all seven finals were won by DWB horses or foreign stallions that are active breeding stallions in Danish Warmblood.

The finale for four-year-old jumping horses became a battle between stallions. The auction foal and premium stallion Syvhøjegårds Unforgetable S (DWB: Untouchable x Cassini I), bred by Sally-Ann and Flemming Schultz, landed second place under the saddle of Jesper Meyenburg and became best Danish Warmblood ahead of champion stallion and performance test winner, the American owned Vong’s Brunello DWB TF by  Balou x Con Capitol (bred by Bjarne Petersen) ridden into fourth place by Mie Oudal.

Five-year-old jumping champion was the incredibly talented Katrinelund Satisfaction by Sandro’s Adel x Crelido (bred by Ib Kirk) ridden by his owner Kasper H. Hansen who also rode this bay gelding in the finals at Zangersheide.
Several Danish Warmblood stallion were battling for the champion title for six-year-old jumpers where Cyrano Ask by Ci Ci Senjor Ask (bred by Stutteri Ask) drew the longer straw and was victorious with Stutteri Ask’s top rider.
Ridden by the 17-year old Anders Sjøbeck Hoeck, the grey premium stallion Highfive Fuglsang by Grand Galaxy Win x De Niro (bred by Anne Dorte Riis Meyland) became the best four-year-old Danish Warmblood dressage horse and runner-up in the finals.

In the finals for five-year-old dressage horses, the quality and the level at the top end of the competition had hardly ever been seen before with a very powerful line-up of world championships contestants such as Swedish Springbank II VH/Severo Jurado López, and the world champion Dutch Jovian/Andreas Helgstrand, but none of these stallions could eclipse the incredible mare Queenparks Wendy by Sezuan x Blue Hors Soprano (bred by Kurt Gosmer) ridden by Andreas Helgstrand and scoring several 10s.
Only surpassed by the invincible combination of DWB auction horse and world championship contestants Revolution/Andreas Helgstrand, Baunehøjens Carpaccio by Charmeur by Kermo’s White Talisman (bred by Pia Gobert) became runner-up and best Danish Warmblood horse with his owner and amateur rider Anette Ejlersgaards who is also known for having owned and trained the Olympic horse Dublét up to Grand Prix.

The double world champion combination D’Avie/Severo Jurado López have battled year after year against the double world championship medallist, Danish Warmblood Hesselhøj Donkey Boy by ERA Dancing Hit x Milan (bred by Dorthe Sjøbeck and Hans Jørgen Hoeck) and his Danish rider Jan Møller Christensen. The Danish pair have won these championships for four-, five-, and six-year-old horses – now adding the seven-year-old title. This stallion’s top quality walk has earned him a 10 over and over again.
