The CWHBA Stallion Service Auction (SSA) is an annual event that gives you the opportunity to bid on breeding's to some of the best Approved or Licensed stallions. This auction is a fundraiser for the local CWHBA Chapters and the National organization. 60% of the funds raised go directly to the following year's foal futurities the rest is used to fund our member programs.
Because this program is designed to generate funding for the Canadian Warmblood Foal Futurity Program (for registered Canadian Warmblood foals), only stallions licensed with a Warmblood registry approved for entry into the CWHBA Main Book are eligible for nomination.
A CWHBA-registered foal, by a nominated stallion, and born in the year following the Stallion Service Auction (SSA), will be eligible to compete in the breeder’s local Canadian Warmblood Foal Futurity, subject to Futurity rules and registration requirements.

• Bids start at 60% of the advertised service fee with no buyer premium!
• Anyone can register to bid
• Your foal will be eligible to be registered with the CWHBA!
• Successful bidders have a complimentary nomination in a provincial foal futurity
• Participating Stallion Owners have a complimentary nomination for a CWHBA foal in a provincial foal futurity (this is transferable)
The CWHBA is recognized internationally by the World Breeding Federation and nationally by the APA.
