Following its successful premiere in March, the Hanoverian Association’s High Level Auction has entered its second round. This time, not only dressage horses ready for competition were offered for sale in the Niedersachsenhalle, but also top-class showjumpers.
The stallion Lampo di Fonteabeti led the statistics, achieving the best price of the 34-strong collection at €210,000.
An exciting bidding duel developed between two interested parties, a mother and daughter, in the stands. At €210,000, the auction hammer finally fell, much to the delight of the new owners from Hesse. The stallion Lampo di Fonteabeti (Franklin x Christ; breeder and exhibitor: Fonteabeti Soc. Agricola S.R.L, Mercatello sul Metauro, Italy), born in 2020, descended from a successful sport mare was brought to the auction in Verden from Italy, and impressed with his dynamic movements and submission. He had already demonstrated his outstanding quality last year as a finalist in the four-year-old riding horse test at the FEI WBFHS Dressage World Breeding Championships for Young Horses in dressage in Ermelo, the Netherlands...
