Focus on youngsters during Holsteiner Horse Days 2023

From June 8-11, it’s once again all about the horses from the land between the seas at the premises of the Elmshorn Holsteiner Verband facility. Visitors can look forward to an extensive and varied program, which you will find below.

The program will include the Verband mare show, the State dressage and showjumping championships, qualifiers for the National Championships, a foal auction sale, and an exciting supporting programme.
As usual, the budding dressage horses are the first to compete on Thursday as well as on the Friday morning, before the Herbert-Blöcker arena is given over to the jumping horses from noon on Friday. The first state champions in the showjumping arena will be crowned on Saturday morning, and the first public presentation of the high-quality auction foal selection takes place at 1.00 pm, with Hendrik Schulze Rückamp taking to the auctioneer’s podium to open the auction sale at around 4:30 pm (CET).

A total of 21 young talents have made it into this year’s collection for the foal auction held during the Holsteiner Horse Days. They will be representing stallions such as Casall, Clarimo, Eldorado, Uriko, Zirocco Blue, Crack, Charaktervoll... and many other modern sires. “I’m very happy that for this auction our breeders have entrusted numerous very interesting foals to us, very convincing with regard to type and movement but also with regard to the performances of their relatives,” says auction manager Felix Flinzer...
