The pinnacle of the 84th anniversary of Sociedade Hípica Brasileira’s International Show Jumping, in Rio de Janeiro, was the BTG Pactual Grand Prix, which was won by Doda Miranda riding Princess de Revel (Cardento - Jezebel Tok x Quidam de Revel).

With obstacles at 1m55, this event gathered the country’s equestrian elite, bringing the spotlight to products of Brazilian national breeding, who occupied five out of the six podium places.
The top 12 pairs – four of whom completed the first round without faults – qualified for the second round designed by Erica Sportiello. Doda Miranda and the Brazilian Sport Horse mare Princess de Revel RF were the penultimate pair to enter the course, completing a clear round in 52s74, guaranteeing their position at the top of the leaderboard.
A delighted Doda Miranda exclaimed: “I was really happy. This year, we had already won Hípica Paulista’s Indoor, which is a highly coveted competition among riders. And now, here in Rio, also this highly prestigious event. Last year, I jumped with another mare and got one fault at the last obstacle. I’m really thankful to my team, my parents, my kids, and my wonderful horses. I’ve been working hard and it’s really good to know we still have so much room for improvement.”

Marcello Ciavaglia and HST Cartouche (Carthoes BZ x Chester Z), who had gotten one fault from the first round, went clear the second time in 51s55, confirming their runners-up position. Likewise, with a first clear round, but one fault mid second round, Lucio Osório riding Etonian Master Polana (Quaprice x Silvio II) placed third in 51s78. Stephan Barcha and Chevaux Primavera Império Egípcio (Calvaro Z x Paroli) finished fourth with four faults in the first round, clear in the second with 52s21...
