The SWB Elite Foal Auctions 2026, presented by Landshypotek Bank, will combine an Online Auction with a ‘live’ Hybrid Auction, opening the collections to buyers in Sweden and internationally.
The two collections bring together 26 foals in the SWB Elite Foal Auction Online and 36 foals in the SWB Elite Foal Auction Hybrid, with both dressage and showjumping prospects represented. Both collections are now available online, giving prospective buyers the opportunity to study videos, photographs, veterinary inspection reports and detailed information about pedigrees and damlines ahead of the auctions.
The SWB Elite Foal Online Auction opens for bidding on the evening of September 30, before concluding with the final bid-up from 20:00 [CET] on October 3. The SWB Elite Foal Hybrid Auction takes place at Flyinge on October 2, where 36 foals will be presented live in the historic indoor arena. Buyers unable to attend Flyinge can participate online, creating an international marketplace alongside the live auction.
Frederik de Backer will introduce the collections
International auctioneer Frederik de Backer will once again take the rostrum at Flyinge, but his involvement begins well before auction night. And,new for 2026, de Backer also introduces the online foals in their individual videos, sharing his impressions of each prospect and giving buyers an additional opportunity to become acquainted with the individuals before bidding begins.
Across the two collections, internationally established sires are combined with successful Swedish mare families and younger bloodlines now making their mark in European sport horse breeding.
International jumping blood meets established SWB damlines
Among the showjumping prospects in the SWB Elite Foal Online Auction is Mount Ivy S.H (F.2) (SWB), a filly by Dominator 2000 Z out of Chellina SN Z (F.2) x Chellano Z. The pedigree combines the influence of Dominator 2000 Z with the established Swedish F.2 mare family.
Another jumping colt, Casco de Balou K EM (SWB), is by Cascadello I out of Baloukette (F.4)(SWB) x Balou du Rouet, bringing together internationally proven jumping genetics with another established SWB damline...
