The top-priced foal at the third edition of “Tomorrow’s Champions by Holsteiner” was Unique Kiss Way (United Touch S x Uriko). The mare, bred by Hartwig Schoof (Hedwigenkoog), dam line 1916, sold for €55,000 at the Holsteiner Verband foal auction held at the Warendorf Riding Club.
Unique Kiss Way impressed with her exceptional sporting pedigree. Her dam is a full sister to Uricas v/d Kattevennen, who competed internationally under the saddle of Harrie Smolders (NED). Her third dam is the 1m60 showjumper Chica’s Way, ridden by Janne-Friederike Meyer-Zimmermann. The Derby winner Carassina, United Way HV, and Clearway also come from this successful family. Her sire just happens to be the newly crowned team world champion United Touch S (Richard Vogel).
