Verden welcomes summer auction horses

The young sport horses destined to go under the hammer during the Verden Summer Auction, have moved into their boxes Hannoveraner Verband barn. Due to take place in the Niedersachsenhalle on July 20, visitors are welcome to attend the presentations and daily public training.

A total of 58 preselected and vet-examined horses appear in the catalogue – from three-year-olds to highly placed 'ready-ti-go' sport horses. In the coming days the horses will be trained by seven auction riders, supported by Hans-Heinrich Meyer zu Strohen, the German national dressage trainer for young riders.

The first presentation will take place on Saturday, July 13, with jumping horses at 10:00 and dressage horses starting at 2:00 p.m. Videos of the presentation will be posted to the Hannoveraner Verband website from July 15. The second, live-streamed presentation will take place on July 17. The auction itself will begin at 2:00 p.m. on July 20.
