Quartz rouge

Trained by Xavier Leredde, with whom he made his international debut, the 19-year-old BWP stallion Ultimo van Ter Moude has returned to Europe from the United States, where he has been competing in Grand Prix classes under the saddle of Todd Minikus. Bred by Haras des Collines, Ultimo has been acquired by Stal Hendrix in the Netherlands. During his career as a sire in France, Ultimo produced international competitors Rouge Pierreville (2005: out of Tendre Girl x Narcos II, ridden by Edwin Smits) and Ramona de Flobecq (2005: out of Kaelle de Guill x Umour du Fenaud, with André Thieme), alongside two showjumping stars: Quechua d’Emmeraude (2004: out of Halle de Labarde x Voltaire) – six-year-old champion of France with Simon Delestre, and the number one stallion of Jérome Hurel, Quartz Rouge (2004: out of Emeraude Rouge x Qredo de Paulstra). Quartz Rouge was bred by Haras des Rouges.
