During the first stage of the Morocco Royal Tour, the brilliant 10yo Oldenburg mare Carlotta 232 (Chaccomo - Quick Centora x Cento) carried Italy’s Emanuele Gaudiano to no fewer than three victories. With a laugh, Gaudiano said: “With good horses it’s easy. It already happened in Hagen, in Germany, when Carlotta won three big classes, including the Grand Prix." During the same event in Morocco, Gaudiano also won a fourth class, the Grand Prix, with his second horse, the black Westfalian stallion Quinn van de Heffinck (For Pleasure - Concetta x Concetto I). Both horses were bred in Germany: Carlotta by Paul Schockemöhle and Quinn by Friedrich Niemeyer.
