Sandro Boy, at the age of 23, will be spending the 2016 breeding season with the Neyrat family at Beligneux le Haras in Servas, France.
A former showjumping super star under the saddle of Marcus Ehning, Sandro Boy was retired in 2010 and has since been represented by Paul Schockemöhle and the Holsteiner Verband. According to Frédéric Neyrat, who will welcome Sandro Boy to the 'European Stallions Resort’, “French broodmares are largely impregnated by powerful stallions who significantly lighten the template, improving speed of movement while remaining calm. We must also reinforce the back, and produce beautiful horses that catch the eye. Sandro Boy will forcefully help us to produce a modern horse.” Sandro Boy fresh semen will be available from the Haras du Châtenay in Ain, and refrigerated throughout France and Europe. Frédéric Neyrat is keen to emphasize that Sandro Boy’s fertility produced excellent results for the Holstein region in 2015. Currently, only one covering season in France is predicted.
