Over 100 young Hanoverian stallions….

206

From October 23-26, the Niedersachsenhalle will once again be opening its doors to young stallions, with more than 100 from the 2017 vintage eagerly waiting. The best of their generation, they will be presented to the licensing commission on the triangle, in free jumping, and lunging, ahead of going on the auction block in front of a large audience, including enthusiastic buyers, on the Saturday.

From Argentinus to Zirocco Blue, the jumping collection offers everything that has rank and name: Internationally proven from all breeding areas, enriched with some offspring of younger sires. Grey Top and Perigueux are particularly well represented this year. The range of dressage stallions is also varied. Here, too, proven sires such as Dancier or Vitalis, who is strongly represented at this licensing, are in the limelight, alongside stallions such as Asgards Ibiza, who are sending offspring to Verden for the first time.

Numerous sport careers have begun at the Verden stallion licensing. A prime example is two-times world champion D'Avie – the impressive chestnut stallion who left the Niedersachsenhalle for Denmark as a premium stallion and was celebrated in Ermelo this year and last year as world champion of young dressage horses.
