The triumphant champion stallion of the Oldenburg licensing in Vechta today was an unnamed son of Belantis x Sir Tender (bred and exhibited by Angelika Krause from Ellerbek). His sire, Belantis, has celebrated international dressage victories with Isabell Werth, and comes from the well-known ‘P’ line of the late Poetin (Sandro Hit x Quaterback).
A son of Casallco, bred by Paul Forkert from Bremen, exhibited by Hergen Forkert, was awarded the OS champion’s title. His dam, Clivia, also produced Ben Maher’s international showjumper Cloud Nine II.
Runner-up in the Oldenburg Premium stallions for dressage went to a Don Schufro colt, bred by Heinz and Elisabeth Schulte from Ahlen, exhibited by Johannes Westendarp from Wallenhorse. This vice champion comes from the famous Finnländerin dam line. Third place went to a strong-moving colt by Sandro Hit, bred by Andreas Klinker and exhibited by Fürstenball discoverer Lone Boegh Heriksen from HP Horses Aps in Denmark.
Showjumping runner-up was a stallion by Toulon, bred by Reinhold Scheider and exhibited by Michael Syperek. His dam, Absolut Schnieder, is also the dam of Juliane Enders’ advanced-level showjumper Colourful (Chamberland).
