Conrad de Hus – the 11-year-old Holsteiner stallion reported as achieving Olympic qualification with Gregory Wathelet, has just been sold and will be moving to the USA to continue his competitive career under the saddle of Quinten Judge. Conrad will be rejoining Copin van de Broy, who carried Wathelet to victory in the Mechelen 2011 World Cup qualifier, and also moved to Double H Farm, owned by Hunter Harrison, Judge’s father in law. Conrad’s sale is a huge loss to the Belgian team. although Wathelet is realistic, having known his owner, Xavier Marie, had been planning to sell the stallion.
