The Horse Breeding Association Baden-Württemberg has a new Marketing Director: Norbert Freistedt (41) from Urspring is taking over the job from Fritz Fleischmann as of May 1, 2019. Freistedt studied agronomy with the focus on animal breeding at the Martin-Luther-University in Halle, and then acted as breeding, management and marketing director at the Breeding Association Sachsen-Thüringen. Together with his partner, German eventing rider Julia Schmid, he runs a farm with horse dealing in Urspring. With Freistedt, Baden-Württemberg has an expert who is known by many breeders, who was in busines from 2003 until 2013 for the Süddeutsche Pferdezuchtverbände Vermarktungs GmbH.
