Swedish studfarm Lövsta has just welcomed the arrival of the Holsteiner stallion Cabachon (Casall - Lady Mobilcom x Concerto II), who was bred by Gerhard Schmid and has been entrusted to them by Paul Schockemöhle for the 2018 and 2019 breeding seasons. Lövsta has become well known as the owner of the 13-year-old stallion Uncanto di Villagana (Canturo - Quivi di Villagana x Acord II), who was bred by Anna Zorzan in Italy. He is successfully competing under the saddle of Belgium's Rachel Steffen, who is currently based at Studfarm Zangersheide. Uncanto presents an intriguing combination of Holsteiner and Selle Français blood and descends from the same French dam line as Cor de la Bryère.
Another Lövsta stallion, Conthallon Rouge (Conthargos - Jesabelle de Baugy x Papillon Rouge), whom they purchased at the age of two-and-a-half, is now approved by Swedish Warmblood and has been ridden by Ludivine Mandron (BEL) in regional jumping classes. Now, at the age of six, Conthallon Rouge will continue his career with Britain's Jo Clee, who has acquired him together with Harrie Theuws for the purpose of bringing him up to the higher levels in sport. In his Swedish Warmblood assessment, Conthallon Rouge was described as a horse who "needed some time to get used to his surroundings. Careful, Good impulsion and scope. Energetic and careful."
