If you’ve missed the pre-Christmas auctions, the Hanoverian sale of sport horses and elite youngsters on January 20, 2018, in Verden will provide the opportunity for a late gift to yourself. Alongside their usual collection of sport horses, they will be offering a fine collection of three-year-olds that have been selected and test for their rideability and, of course, thoroughly vet checked. The catalogue includes horses for professional, amateur and leisure riders alike. Overall, 55 dressage, 49 showjumping and 10 elite youngsters will go under the hammer.

For dressage fans, you will find sons and daughters of such illustrious sires as De Niro, Negro, San Amour I, Fidertanz, Londontime and Diamond Hit – alongside dam’s sires Donnerhall, Sandro Hit, Salieri and Lauries Crusador xx. Likewise, well known names among the jumping sires include Balou du Rouet, Stolzenberg, Stakkato and Argentinus, while among the dam lines are the classic names of Contendro I, Acorado, Polydor and Embassy I.

The 10 youngsters – all stallions – will see two sons of Diacontinus, Dragonetti and Debussy, as well as the Toulon x Stakkato son, Tschaikowski.
