Kaprice van’t Roosakker (Echo van't Spieveld)

A finalist in the Belgian championship for young horses at the age of five, Belgian champion at the age of six under the saddle of Dieter Laheyne, before becoming a six-year-old finalist in the World Breeding Championship for Young Horses in Lanaken with Lorenzo de Luca (ITA), Kaprice van’t Roosakker (Echo van't Spieveld) has been acquired by US international showjumper Kent Farrington. Kaprice’s dam is none other than Electra van’t Roosakker (Carthago) who progressed under the saddle of Jos Lansink, while her great-grandmother is the celebrated Usha van’t Roosakker (Chin Chin), who had a good career with the Stephex stables of Stephan Conter and is now enjoying life as a broodmare. This same bloodline also produced the approved stallion Erco van’t Roosakker, whose career evolved with Daniel Deusser (GER) and Lorenzo de Luca. According to Stephan Conter: “We work regularly with Kent Farrington whose top horses Creedance (Lord Z - Camantha x Notaris) and Gazelle (Kashmir van Schutershof - Diva ter Elsen x Indoctro) came from our stable. Kaprice has all the qualities to follow in their footsteps.” Breeders: Kaprice van’t Roosakker, Usha van’t Roosakker and Erco van’t Roosakker were all bred by Marc Kluskens; Gazelle by Werner Hyenninkx van Hoornick; Creedance by A. Hassing. www.studforlife.com
