High quality during BWP elite foals’ national championship

Last month, the national championship for BWP elite foals took place. We are pleased to briefly present the showjumping champions. In the category ‘older colts’, Duuk van den Bosdam triumphed. Freddy De Vos bred this son of Pegase van ’t Ruytershof out of Querida van den Bosdam (BWP lineage 116). Querida also produced Titicaca van den Bosdam, a 7-year-old Diamant de Semilly daughter, with whom Mathieu Bourdeaud’Hui jumps at 1m40 level. Querida’s dam, Bethsabee van de Maltahoeve, performed at 1m60 level, in partnership with Keean White.

The victory in the class for young colts was claimed by Dougadougo Ress CM, also a son of Pegase van ’t Ruytershof. Chiara Mercie bred this champion foal out of Narnia Ress Z (Namelus R – Serafina Ress Z x Sandro). Serafina Ress is a half-sister to King Edward (ex-King Edward Ress), one of the best showjumpers in the word under the saddle of Henrik von Eckermann.

Désiree van de Mispelaere (Ph: Jo de Roo)

In the category ‘older fillies’, the jury awarded the highest score to Désiree van de Mispelaere, bred by Nikolas and Sigrid Matthijs-Vermeulen from the cross of Aganix du Seigneur with Mizaura ter Putte. Mizaura’s dam, Isaura ter Putte, jumped very successfully in the five-star circuit and is a half-sister to the progenitor Elvis ter Putte.

Dystaenia vd Donkhoeve (Ph: Jo de Roo)

Dystaenia VD Donkhoeve was crowned as the champion of the category ‘young fillies’. She is by the sport stallion Cashpaid J&F out of Violet VD Donkhoeve. Violet is a half-sister to the popular BWP approved stallion Unicum VD Donkhoeve. Gustaaf Quintelier is the breeder of Dystaenia.
