Three years old Dream de Baussy (Nabab de Reve [sBs] - Typie [SF] x Diamant de Semilly [SF]) won the three-year-old qualifier for Saint-Lô last July, and last week confirmed his potential during the national championship. Let's agree that his nice pedigree can be considered as a 100% Selle Français one even though his father, Nabab (Quidam de Revel [SF] - Melodie en Fa [SF] x Artichaut [SF]) has been registered sBs. Dream de Baussy comes through maternal bloodline of Itot du Chateau Le Tot de Semilly - Sophie du Chateau x Galoubet A). His dam is jumping 1m45 with Angelina Augustsson in Belgian. Dream's conformation and shape were excellent with great final marks 16.83. He was born at Haras de Baussy stud farm in Normandy where the career of famous Quito de Baussy (ridden by Eric Navet) was born 34 years ago.
Two-year-old french champion Eyecatcher du Borget (Numero Uno [KWPN] - Ombre de Toscane [SF] x Quick Star [SF]) also comes from a well know maternal bloodline, including many international winners such as Olympic gold medallist Rahotep de Toscane (Quidam de Revel x Laudanum xx). His good looking conformation is a reminder of Quick Star and the reason that he showed great agility during the free jumping. He was born at Doreen Dumolein's stud farm in northern France and now belongs to a Chilean owner who travelled to Saint-Lô especially for the victory of his colt. E. F.
