At the conclusion of the Selle Français national championships for three-year-old sport horses (geldings and mares), the overall winner was Eyton de Liam (Dayton Sitte - Quoralia de la Borde x Barbarian), bred by Amelie Queguiner and presented by his owners, François Pope and François-Eric Fedry. With a final mark of 16.31 (16.80 for model; 15.62 free jumping; 16.25 gaits; 16.5 jumping under saddle), Eyton finished marginally ahead of runner-up Eredita du Jardin – a daughter of Qlassic Bois Margot, out of Ninarele du Jardin (Tresor de Cheux), bred and owned by Nicolas Pargon. During the free jumping, Eredita quite literally blew the judges away, scoring the highest mark of 17.25 – although her overall tally dropped her below Eyton. Third place was claimed by Eglantine Batilly (Quaprice Bois Margot/ex Quincy - Corleone Batilly x Cap Kennedy), bred and owned by Jean-Claude Viollet with a final score of 16.01
