The Selle Français Enzo de Hus (2014: Conrad de Hus - U-Sprit x Baloubet du Rouet) claimed the AES champion’s title during their recent stallion selection. Bred by Haras de Hus and acquired by Marc Dilassier as a foal, Enzo qualified for the French two-year-old championship in 2016. His dam is none other than Jur Vrieling’s stallion, Carrera VDL, and also a maternal half sister to Tinka’s Boy (1989: Zuidpool - Esprit x Zeus/Nurzeus) – one of the most successful Swiss showjumpers with more than 2.5 million Swiss francs to his credit when partnered with Markus Fuchs. Tinka’s Boy is especially popular in the Netherlands, as well as his son Tao d’Ouilly Z (2013: out of Vesta d’Ouilly x Quality Touch Z) who was vice-champion during the KWPN stallion expertise. Enzo’s granddam is Lesbos d’Ouilly who competed up to three-star Grand Prix level uder the saddle of Aymeric de Ponnat (FRA) before being exported to New Zealand. Enzo’s sire, Conrad de Hus has been long-listed for the 2016 Rio Olympic Games until he was sold to Double H Farms in the United States to be ridden by Quinten Judge.
