Blind Date 25 (Breitling W - Donnice x Donnerhall) – the 15-year-old mare ridden by Victoria Max-Theurer (AUT), celebrated a double win at the Dressage Cappeln International over the weekend. According to her rider: “An excellent test, but especially ‘Beate’s’ (Blind Date’s nickname) consistent performances after her long break from shows, pleases me. She already appeared focused and in perfect shape during the last six tests”. With the European Championships taking place in Gothenburg, Sweden, mid August, Max-Theurer added:
"We are going to cut down the programme again to make sure we maintain Beate’s really remarkable motivation.” Blind Date was bred in Germany by Margret Klare.
In the Cappeln small tour, the Max-Theurer show stabled scored another success with their Vorwerk stallion Dubrovnik NRW in the Inter-I final. Ridden by Austrian veterinarian Wolfang Himsl, the pair scored 72.36. The eight-year-old dark-chestnut Dubrovnik was sired by Diamond Hit, out of Regazzoni dam, Demona, and was bred by Reesink Pferde GmbH.
