Coco Berlini (Caspar/aka Berlin - Quibelle x Quidam de Revel)

Third this past weekend under the saddle of Lucas Deryckers during the two-star Grand Prix in Knokke, Belgium, Coco Berlini (Caspar/aka Berlin - Quibelle x Quidam de Revel) has moved to the stables of Gudrun Patteet. An eight-year-old Westfalian mare, Coco Berlini was bred by Heinrich Sterthoff and debuted with Deryckers in FEI young-horse classes last year with excellent results: 1st CSIYH1* Eschweilier, table A 1m35; 2nd CSI2* Liege, two-phase 1m40; plus two third-place finishes in Knokke at 1m40 and 1m45. According to Patteet: “We have made an agreement with the owners who wanted the mare to progress to high level competition. I am very happy because she is a mare who has great prommise. She was the six-year-old German champion, and finished 10th in the world championships (the WBFSH-FEI World Breeding Championships for Young Horses) at the age of seven”.
