Bred in Italy by Anna Zorzan, the 13-year-old BWP-approved Uncanto di Villagana (Canturo - Quivi di Villagana x Acord II) has returned to the Rosehoeve stud farm to focus exclusively on breeding during the coming weeks.

Under the saddle of Belgium's Rachel Steffen since May 2017, having taken over the ride from Jens Fredricson (SWE), the bay stallion has recorded some impressive competition results: second in the under-25 Grand Prix in Lausanne, third in the Mechelen GP, as well as third in the Liege GP. This pair's success continued into 2018, including third place in their CSIO3* Nations' Cup debut in Uggerhalne, Denmark.

Although the stallion's pedigree includes some well-known Holsteiner ancestors in his paternal line, he is a grandson of the Selle Français mare Vilneuve de la Tif, by the Anglo Arab Prince Ig'Or X, out of Orchidée Oceane (Quastor), a paternal granddaughter of the legendary Ibrahim.
