#48: Belle Fleur

This coming Thursday, August 23, horse buyers and breeders will be drawn to the Upper Swabian town of Riedlingen. In the riding hall of Reitverein Riedlingen, the 61st edition of this former foal market of Baden-Württemberg horse breeding association. In 2018, the collection comprises a total of 60 foals, descended from national as well as internationally sought-after stallions: First and foremost, the stallions Balou du Rouet and Casall, who are among the top ten stallion stallions worldwide. In Riedlingen, Casall opens with a very special offer: The full sister to Carmina II, who went under the hammer in Riedlingen eight years ago, and has now been selected to represent Germany at the forthcoming World Equestrian Games in Tryon, NC, under the saddle of Laura Klaphake. Other sires include Now or Never M, as well as Levisto and Livello. For the dressage enthusiasts, offspring from stallions such as Diamond Hit, Don Olymbrio, Fürstenball, Danone I, Floriscount, For Romance I and the Burg Pokal winner Vitalis will be presented. Also, currently popular, are jumping stars like Diacontinus or Hickstead White, multi talented stars such as Benicio, alongside the young dressage champions Don Martillo, Quantum Leap, vice- Bundeschampion Secret, S-Series winner Topas, two-time South German Champion DSP Boss Hoss, Sarotti Mocha Cream, Zalando and Asgards Ibiza are also represented with charming and strong moving foals. Finally, with foals from their first vintage in the ring, renowned young stallions such as Helium and the Mecklenburg champion Durello. Foals will be presented from 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, while star auctioneer Hedrik Schulze Rückamp will raise him hammer on the first lot at 2:00 p.m.
